Canonical Semantic Scope and Non-Prescriptive Clause

§1Purpose

This specification defines the binding semantic scope of the Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS).

It governs the permissible interpretation, representation, and projection of canonical terms, primitives, derivations, and constraints.

This document is constitutionally binding.

§2Descriptive Structural Posture

The Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS):

  • Defines structural admissibility conditions;
  • Specifies constraint inheritance under explicit primitives;
  • Formalizes representational discipline and expansion boundaries.

The Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS) is descriptive and structural in character.

It does not assert ontology, prescribe norms, or establish institutional hierarchy.

§3Non-Prescriptive Clause

No structural derivation within the Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS) implies:

  • Moral prescription;
  • Political prescription;
  • Economic justification;
  • Institutional legitimacy;
  • Normative endorsement;
  • Teleological necessity;
  • Value hierarchy;
  • Personal or organizational authority.

Any interpretation asserting such implication constitutes an applied-layer extension and shall not be represented as canonical derivation.

§4Projection Discipline

Projection (Π):

  • Is domain-scoped;
  • Is constraint-preserving;
  • Does not introduce new primitives;
  • Does not back-propagate domain-native assumptions into canonical structure.

No projection may modify canonical invariants of the Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS).

§5Definition Sovereignty

Canonical terms within the Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS):

  • Are valid only as explicitly defined in the Anchor Specification (SC-AS);
  • May not be extended by analogy;
  • May not import external semantic payload;
  • May not be redefined without formal version increment.

Selective quotation does not expand semantic scope.

§6Structural Anchor Specification Boundary

The Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS) consists exclusively of the following structural specifications:

  • SC-CORE-000001
  • SC-AXIOM-000001
  • SC-HDR-000001
  • SC-SCOPE-000001

These documents define canonical primitives, constraints, admissibility, and semantic scope.

6.1Canonical Sovereignty Prohibition (Normative)

  1. Canonical closure: The SC-AS canonical set is closed and SHALL consist exclusively of the documents enumerated in §6 (SC-CORE, SC-AXIOM, SC-HDR, SC-SCOPE).

  2. No elevation mechanism: No document class, header field, release mechanism, governance action, or other process SHALL elevate any non-SC-AS artifact to canonical SC-AS status, or to equality with (or override of) SC-CORE or SC-AXIOM.

  3. Non-canonical normativity is scoped: Non-SC-AS artifacts MAY be normative within their own declared scope, but such normativity SHALL NOT be construed as modifying SC-AS admissibility or canonical definitions.

§7Certificate Tier (Normative)

7.1Definition

A Reflexive Closure Certificate (RCC) is a verification artifact issued by the canonical process to attest that a canonical document satisfies the structural discipline it defines or inherits.

7.2Dependency Order

The dependency order between the canonical set and the certificate tier is strictly downward:

  1. The canonical set (§6) defines the structural discipline.
  2. Certificates are issued BY the canonical process as products of self-verification against that discipline.
  3. Certificates derive their authority from the canonical set. The canonical set does not derive authority from certificates.

Certificates SHALL NOT modify, extend, or reinterpret canonical definitions. A certificate attests structural compliance; it does not contribute to the structure it verifies.

7.3Structural Position

Certificates occupy a tier between the canonical set and the stewardship layer:

  • Canonical set (§6): defines the discipline — foundational authority
  • Certificate tier (§7): issued by the canonical process — derived verification authority
  • Stewardship layer (§8): supports distribution and governance — no derivational authority

7.4Issuance Binding

Each certificate is integrity-bound to a specific canonical issuance. The certificate's extension header SHALL declare the target document identity and the SHA-256 hash of the target document at the time of verification.

If the target document is reissued (new Issuance ID), existing certificates for the prior issuance remain valid attestations of the prior state but do not attest the new issuance. A new certificate SHALL be issued for each new canonical issuance that requires verification.

7.5Header Governance

Certificate header structure is governed by SC-HDR-000001. The Document Class for certificates is RCC and the namespace token is RCC. Required and optional extension keys for the RCC class are defined in SC-HDR.

7.6Coverage

Each canonical document enumerated in §6 SHOULD have a corresponding Reflexive Closure Certificate for each issued state included in a constitutional release.

§8Constitutional Bundle Artifacts

The constitutional release of the Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS) additionally includes governance and legal artifacts required for stewardship and integrity:

  • SC-GOV-000001 (Governance and Versioning)
  • SC-LICENSE-000001 (Text License — CC BY-ND 4.0)
  • SC-NAME-000001 (Naming and Layering Policy)
  • SC-TM-000001 (Trademark and Certification Mark Policy)
  • SC-AUTHORSHIP-000001 (Authorship Declaration)

These artifacts support canonical stewardship but do not extend structural derivation.

§9Authority Limitation

The Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS):

  • Does not confer institutional enforcement authority;
  • Does not establish governance hierarchy;
  • Does not grant regulatory power;
  • Does not authorize coercive interpretation.

It defines structural admissibility only.

§10Binding Status

This specification is binding within the constitutional release of the Structural Coherence — Anchor Specification (SC-AS).

Interpretations inconsistent with this scope fall outside canonical authority.
